    Description

1978-D Eisenhower Dollar Rare Grade MS 66+ Population 12 / Only 7 Finer.
An extremely rare, Eisenhower, dollar near top pop with only 12 coins know in this MS 66+ condition.
The only higher grade (MS67) has a tire population of 7 coins known.
Straight from a sealed Denver Federal US Mint bag of 1,000 Eisenhower Dollars. The sealed US Mint bag was kept safe in controlled storage for over 44 years before being opened and graded at the NGC facility.
This history adds another layer of value and complexity to the coin, as it was a regular production, distribution intended coin, not a numismatic product from a mint set or etc.
Slabbed with the limited commemorative Eisenhower ‘Ike’ label. Prominently featuring a portrait of Dwight Eisenhower and stunning example of the White House with clear blue sky as the background.
